Hi, Kattin. I wanted to let you know that I am in labor and likely headed to the hospital today. I was wondering if you would mind answering some questions over email and then perhaps we can talk again in a few days. I feel like we had a good connection on the phone and that you would be a good match for our family so I'm hoping we can settle things in the next week or so, if you and I are still feeling good about the match at that point. Here are my questions:

Thanks for your message. I have requested a match with Kattin and requested that she arrive in the US on August 10. Also, please see attached picture of Beckett. He arrived on Saturday, June 13th. We are home with him now and enjoying being new parents. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our family, Kattin.

QUESTIONNAIRE DE LA HOST FAMILY....

1. What do you believe is your primary responsibility when caring for a child from birth to 1 year old?
I believe my primary responsability is the baby security like to keep well in my arms, he doesn't suffocate with little things or play with marbles, to give him well the bottle in his mouth, to put him well on the bed, to give him to in time like when he wants and no as we want. When he's ungry we need to give him the bottle because he may dessicated.
Or when we are by car, to put him well in the baby seat or in the stroller (the seatbelt very well attach), and put him the hat and the suntan cream when it's sunny.
When he's ill, I will have to call the doctor or parents and don't give him any drugs without the parents or the doctor authorization.

]2. When you last cared for an infant, what types of activities did you engage in?
My last cared for an infant was 6 years ago but I remember very well what I will have to do. 4 years ago, I follow a formation with babies for the animation diplom.
6 years ago, I played with him with his plush or rattles, I spoke like that he could heard many sounds, or sing, or to clap one's hand. he could touch some things like books, big thinks to be awake the baby.

3.What do you find most rewarding about working with babies?
About working with babies, I feel very happy! They bring us the joy. we feel useful to look after babies.

4. What do you find most challenging about working with babies?
I love their smile, their beautifu face, touch their soft skin, look after them when their sleep, feel their smell when their go out from the bath.

5. How do you handle a child when he is crying?
When he's crying, I take him in my arms, I try to sing him a song, to rock him, to try to give him to the bottle, to make him the belch, or to to change his diaper, to wash him, or to put him on the bed ( he may be tired). If I see he has a temperature I will call the doctor or bring him to the emergency immediatly.

6. How do you feel when a child is crying?
I feel a baby he's crying, when he's not well like he moves all the time, he has a temperature, or maybe when teeth or coming.

7. What do you do when you can't figure out why a child is crying?
I call immediatly the doctor or parents

8. Have you ever been in an emergency situation? If so, how did you handle?
I have never been in the emergency situation. If so, I will bring him immediatly in the emmergency.

9. How do you feel about a match with our family?
I really loved talking with you the last time! I feel the match with your family well. I hope you will be satisfied about my answers and will be so happy to come in your family :D

10. Why do you believe we should choose you as our au pair?
I believe you can choose me because I'm an serious person, I'm attentive with babies, I'm conscientious, I'm responsable. I hope you pick me in your family =D
